dedicated to the shooting of films, fictions, clips, advertisements by accompanying the productions on virtual reality technology.PLATEAU VIRTUEL is a new project supported by the Novelty-Magnum-Dushow group. The Group supports Plateau Virtuel for infrastructure, equipment, skills and knowledge.

The studio

The studio is currently located in Studio du Lendit L3, but the Plateau Virtuel’s goal is to be able to move to other studios and adapt to each project.
This new tool was developed in the current health context of distancing, difficulty to travel, but also in a goal of reduction of CO2 emissions.

The illusion is PERFECT | The set becomes REAL

The scenery is projected on LED screens, in the background, built in a 3D software used by video game creators (Unreal Engine/Epic Games).
We filmed with a camera equipped with a tracking system that communicates directly with our 3D software.
The filmed scenery reacts according to the position of the camera, we permanently keep the perspective of the scenery in the image, our eye is deceived, the scenery becomes real.

PLATEAU VIRTUEL’s TEAM

Born from the meeting between a Chief Operator (Julien LASCAR), a lighting designer (Bruno CORSINI) and a 3D modeler (Olivier SAINT HUBERT), PLATEAU VIRTUEL is a new filming solution that will become essential very soon.
